Teal Holden, a native Houstonian, has over 10 years of experience in health care management and operations working in both the not-for-profit and for-profit sectors as a Regional Director of Operations and Chief Executive Officer. Teal is a dedicated healthcare administrator within the United Surgical Partners International/Memorial Hermann Healthcare System. In her current role as CEO of MH Surgical Hospital Kingwood, Teal provides leadership and support for clinical excellence, physician partnership, fiscal accountability, operational effectiveness, and personnel management. Since joining Memorial Hermann Surgical Hospital Kingwood in 2013, Ms. Holden has led the hospital in growth and the expansion of adding an MRI service line to the facility. She believes that MH Surgical Hospital Kingwood has been successful in its growth “due to the high quality of care and superb customer service each staff member and physician provides our patients – we treat them as our own family member.”
Teal has a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry with Honors from Xavier University of Louisiana and earned a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Houston Baptist University and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas in Houston. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering for initiatives that benefit our community’s youth in her social, professional, and religious affiliations, as well as mentoring colleagues early in their healthcare career.
